Have you ever found yourself seeking permission from the internet for something you truly desire? "Can I eat the whole tub of Ben & Jerry's?" "Am I too old for...?" "Should I start a podcast?" Truth is, we've all been there. But with experience, I've come to realize that you probably already know the answer.

1. Because you can

In this day and age, with limitless possibilities, there has never been a better time to start a podcast. With free options for distribution, recording, and even website creation, the resources are at your fingertips. Feel free to send me an email via the home page (Scroll to the bottom) and I can share some of these with you.

2. It doesn't need to be perfect to begin

It's easy to get caught up in the need for perfection, but it's not necessary to have your own podcast. Don't worry about having famous guests or large followings, just start with what you know and build from there.

3. It's uniquely yours (My favourite)

Your story is unlike anyone else's. You bring a unique perspective that deserves to be heard. And the best part? You have the freedom to tell your story your way. It's a blissful freedom.

4. It's a challenge

Did someone ever record you and you immediately have to ask "Do I really sound like that?" Imagine choosing to record yourself if that is your first thought, HA! But seriously, from the first episode of The Oasis Project (My first podcast) to now, I still feel this way in some manner. I had to learn to become better at audio editing. Look, it's not professional quality but If I can get audio out, you can too! And the feeling of accomplishment is well worth it.

5. It's always evolving

The Oasis Project took me on a wild journey, as will yours. With each episode, your idea can evolve and take on a life of its own.

Here is just a few examples of my "evoltionary leaps" - I wanted to talk to MEN about mental health, I thought about recording those conversations, I branded as a podcast, my first guest was a FEMALE Naturopath Jemaine Finlay (Ladies please check out her website as she will change your life)! Now we are here at MSMD! So embrace the ride as you never know what is around the corner!

So when can we listen to yours!?
